Our Australian Adventure

Day 1

We’re up early for our flight from Heathrow, ready to go on our biggest adventure yet. Packs are packed, car loaded and we’re ready, or so we thought! As Anita shut the front door she said make sure it’s double locked, I can’t work out why my key isn’t working, then the penny drops, her keys are still in the door on the inside! we’ll worry about getting in later.

We arrive at Heathrow and Anita says, ‘can’t find my glasses or phone’ turns out they were left on the wall next to the front door! Luckily we have lovely neighbours and friends who are up early too!!

Now to brace ourselves for the first flight of 12h 50m to Singapore, with Singapore Airlines.

After a long flight, which was quite good, food was nice, we arrive in Singapore 10 mins ahead of schedule, technically, as the time has gone forward we’re now into day 2!
